well, of course it's Corky Sherwood, silly.

Hi there! You've reached the one and only Corky Sherwood! I can't come to the phone right now. There's lots of work to be done in the world of news, so I'm probably busy with important research. But when I next get a break, I'll come right over, check my messages, and hopefully find yours! Make sure to speak clearly after the beep; if you mumble and I don't understand you, that won't be my fault.

Have a great day! ♥

*BEEP!*

[ooc - Yes, it's the fabled contact post! If you need to contact me for any reason, this is the place to do it. You can leave any IC or OOC messages here.]

well, of course it's Corky Sherwood, silly.
[ooc note: In the time I've got Corky in now, the book in question doesn't actually exist yet. Consider this one filed under bendy!time.]

Well, let's see. I could always recommend the Bible, but people tend to get a little cranky whenever you mention it. I can't imagine why; it's obviously a great book!

I could recommend Chinaberry Chuckles and the Land of the Woogies. Sure, the simple words and the cute, colorful cover might throw you off, but it's actually a very interesting look at society.

But no, I think I would recommend Oh, the Places You'll Go! by none other than Dr. Seuss. You've probably already read it, but I don't think it's the kind of book that could ever get old. Some people think it's too optimistic, but... how can you not like a book that tells you that you're smart and brave? How can you not like a book that tells you that you have the power to move mountains? How can you not like a book that's not afraid to tell you that not everything will be great... but even so, you'll still have the power to push forward? With all the people in the world who try to knock you down, how can you not like a book that exists to pick you up?

I wonder why there aren't more books like this one. I can't really think of any that come right out and say things like this:

You won't lag behind, because you'll have the speed.
You'll pass the whole gang and you'll soon take the lead.
Wherever you fly, you'll be the best of the best.
Wherever you go, you will top all the rest.

Mmmhmm. I would definitely recommend this book. I can only hope that you would, too.

I'm baaaaack~! ♥

There have been so many posts while I've been gone. I don't even know where to begin. What if everyone just tells me one thing that's happened to them over the past couple of weeks? It can be good or bad, but I hope it would be good!

I've missed you all sooooo muuuuuuch. ♥ ♥ ♥

Here's a meme I did a few days ago:

you are deepskyblue
#00BFFF

Your dominant hues are cyan and blue. You like people and enjoy making friends. You're conservative and like to make sure things make sense before you step into them, especially in relationships. You are curious but respected for your opinions by people who you sometimes wouldn't even suspect.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.

I love blue! Although I'm not sure I agree with toning down optimism.

(ooc: My computer troubles officially ended last night. *knocks on wood forever*. My laptop is once again in working order and I'm reeeally excited to finally be able to get back into things here.

Also, if you haven't already heard, Murphy Brown is coming to TV Land starting in June! As far as I know, it's scheduled to be on at 3 in the morning every night, which I'm less than happy about, but I'm just grateful that it's going to be on regularly again. I'll bring over the official information whenever it gets announced, and I hope you guys will watch it!)

ooc: Excuse me while I copy/paste this here - I think it's been a full week since I've been able to reply to anything. My laptop's become stuck in an endless chain of updating (there was a time when I said I liked Vista. That time is over). Since I have to call support to get things sorted out, it'll probably be a little bit longer before I can catch up with any comments I owe. My apologies to anybody who's waiting on anything; hopefully Corky and Murphy will be 100% back very soon. In the meantime, have a prompt response!

Oh, busy busy busy. I probably shouldn't have taken the time to do this meme, but when it's for Winnie the Pooh characters? Honestly, how can you resist?

Your Score: Tigger

You scored 17 Ego, 12 Anxiety, and 14 Agency!

And as they went, Tigger told Roo (who wanted to know)
all about the things that Tiggers could do.

"Can they fly?" asked Roo.

"Yes," said Tigger, "they're very good flyers, Tiggers
are. Strornry good flyers."

"Oo!" said Roo. "Can they fly as well as Owl?"

"Yes," said Tigger. "Only they don't want to."

"Why don't they want to?" well, they just don't like it
somehow."

Roo couldn't understand this, because he thought it
would be lovely to be able to fly, but Tigger said it was
difficult to explain to anybody who wasn't a Tigger himself.

You scored as Tigger!

ABOUT TIGGER: Tigger is the newest addition to the Hundred Acre Wood, and he lives with Kanga and Roo, because Roo's strengthening medicine turned out to be the thing that Tiggers like best. Tigger is bouncy and confident -some of his friends think he is a little TOO bouncy and confident, but attempts to unbounce him tend to be fruitless.

WHAT THIS SAYS ABOUT YOU: You are a positive and confident person. You feel capable of dealing with anything and everything, and funnily enough, you usually ARE. You don't worry about much, and you love to go out and find new adventures.

Your friends and family might sometimes be a little exasperated by your boundless enthusiasm. You don't like to admit your mistakes, and when you find yourself in over you head, you tend to bluff your way out of things. You would be surprised, however, at how happy the people around you would be if you would actually admit to a mistake. It would make you seem more human, somehow.

My mun told me to direct you to my profile, which has been completely revamped and updated! She says, and I quote, "It's better now because it's neat, concise, and includes a fun picture as a bonus!" I have to agree, especially about the picture! That's such a great one of me! Go look at it if you have a few minutes! ♥

[ooc - The only reason I'm even bothering to mention this is because there's a section in there devoted to her current TM canon. This exists purely to help me keep track of what's going on and it will obviously change many times in the future. There are specific muse shout-outs, though, and if you feel that something has been listed about your muse erroneously, please do tell me right now. :V]

A magic potion? Any kind of magic potion? One that could let me do anything I wanted to do? One that could give me anything I wanted to get? One that could let me go anywhere I wanted to go?

Hmm...

I already travel a lot for the show, so I don't think I'd get much use out of one that would fly me anywhere. I can usually buy anything I want now, too, so I don't think I need one that would give me anything. And I live in America, so I can do anything I want to do already!

But maybe I'd buy one that would prevent my hair from ever falling out. If I'm going to get older, I should get to keep all these lovely golden strands. Or maybe I'd buy one that would prevent me from getting wrinkles. I don't think I could live with the laugh lines that Murphy has. Maybe I could even buy one that would make me taller! Or prettier! Or-

...Oh, what am I saying? I'm perfect enough as I am already! I don't see how I would ever need some silly potion to help me age gracefully. I'm pretty sure that's just going to happen naturally. And if it doesn't, then this is why the good Lord brought us wrinkle creams.
